Kforce Field Technician in Syracuse, New York

Kforce has a client in search of a Field Technician in Syracuse, New York (NY). Responsibilities include:

  • Main responsibility of the position is to manage the location tag inventory of a facility in the Healthcare environment

  • Use client Healthcare technologies and applications to locate and service equipment per pre-defined process

  • Interface with client Healthcare customers as a client Healthcare representative showing the proper sensitivity for patients and staff

  • Physically locate client Healthcare products in a clinical environment

  • Replace the batteries for client Healthcare RFID tags

  • Replace and assign tags to hospital assets in the client Healthcare software platform

  • Work collaboratively with the team to continuously improve processes

  • Replace tags on assets that have been identified

  • Have a minimal impact on distracting clinical operations and workflow

  • Report work completed on a weekly basis to include quantities and hours worked

  • Associates degree in a technical field preferred

  • Demonstrated experience providing field services in an external client delivery environment an asset

  • Experience in systems installations, Hardware and Software

  • Experience with enterprise software deployments

  • Routing, IP, WiFi infrastructures and networking knowledge an asset

  • SQL DB knowledge an asset

  • Microsoft Server and Applications knowledge

  • Must be able to take and independently follow directions

  • Project or program management an asset

  • Knowledge in location and RFID systems a plus
