Citi Learning and Development works to drive business performance by connecting employees with relevant and innovative learning experiences when and where they need them. The Digital Learning team is part of Citi Learning and is responsible for setting the direction, driving innovation and selecting appropriate Digital Learning Technologies and methodologies to improve performance and learning for Citi globally. The Digital Learning Advisor is critical to ensuring the effective use of new and innovative learning technologies at Citi. The role is pivotal to providing an integrated/contextual employee learning experience across Citi in order to dramatically drive better business and performance outcomes. The role partners with Learning Advisors, HR and functional SMEs to share best practice and support cutting-edge delivery of Digital Learning technology and methodologies.This role will report to the Head of Digital Learning within Citi’s Human Resources organization.
Aligns with the Head of Digital Learning to develop and implement a strategy to actively transform learning at Citi
Consult with key stakeholders across various regions to plan, implement, and evaluate digital learning initiatives to create best-fit learning experiences.
Using strong project management to ensure initiatives are delivered on time and on budget
Lead internal marketing effort to promote Digital Learning Tools and capabilities across Citi
Track innovative trends in learning, vendors, and technologies; stay abreast of trends and identify applicability of new methods that could benefit Citi
Evaluate emerging vendors for fit to learning objectives and modality needs; facilitate onboarding
Recommend leading industry best practices and solutions in the area of digital learning technologies and design to solve business and learning needs
Identify technology and design approaches that embed on-the-job learning and collaborative learning across the organization and enables managers and employees to develop the capability to assess their learning and modality needs
Facilitate learning interventions in a credible, influential, and engaging manner to ensure solutions meet business and learning objectives
In partnership with Head of Digital Learning, drive strategy and awareness of learning interventions and initiatives by facilitating in forums, presenting in meetings and utilizing internal collaborative and social tools to promote understanding and adoption.
Solid learning design & development skills; proven expertise in designing programs to meet business needs
Knowledge and experience in adult learning within a corporate context
Creative; open to new ideas
Experience creating effective communications and marketing campaigns to promote talent management and L&D initiatives
Ability to collaborate with outside vendors and internal clients at all levels
Demonstrated high quality communication and solid relationship-building abilities in a global, matrix organization
Able to adapt to change and work through conflicts while persuasively influencing outcomes
Proven ability to lead transformational change efforts
A strategic thinker with direct experience applying digital technologies to improve learning and performance in a corporate setting
Demonstrated history of successfully planning, implementing, and evaluating online learning initiatives
Experience working closely with learning designers, faculty and learners on digital learning initiatives
